The Young Car Mechanic competition has become one of regular automotive industry events in Poland and in other markets where Inter Cars operates. This year’s fourth edition will be attended by participants from a total of 9 countries, who will fight for the title of the best young mechanic of 2020.
Each year, an increasing number of countries whose representatives get to compete for the title of the best young mechanic, as well as valuable prizes funded by the event’s partners, apply for participation in the competition.
The first edition of the international competition organized under the Young Personnel Programme took place in 2017 and was attended by representatives of Poland, Latvia and Lithuania. The winner was Kęstutis Mockus from Lithuania. In the following years representatives of other countries joined this prestigious event to compete against their foreign colleagues. A nice surprise has been the victory of Bartek Januszewski from the Mechanical School Complex in Białystok. Bartek had been prepared for the competition by Krzysztof Czerech.
This year the competition will be attended by representatives of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. The international nature of the event proves beyond all doubt that it is of great importance to automotive companies.
The competition is becoming increasingly popular with each year, which only proves that its formula is working. The feedback the organizers have been receiving from suppliers and garages only encourages them to move on with the event and promote it in other countries.
