Ford Trucks officially launches sales on Polish market!

Just four months after starting cooperation between Ford Trucks and Q-Service Truck the first F-MAX vehicles found their new owners, and official handing car keys took place at the grand opening of Ford Truck dealers and service network in Poland, which was held on 17 October in Cząstków Polski nearby Warsaw.

The meeting organized in importer’s office of Ford Trucks Poland hosted representatives of Ford Otosan, Inter Cars SA, Q-Service Truck, industry journalists, and also guests of honour, including representatives of PKO Leasing S.A., Ford Poland, Polish Association of Automotive Industry and Nationwide Association of Road Transport Employers. Also the Ambassadors of Q-Service Truck – PHU Automax, ALBOR, Jakub Bogusz and Galaauto – who were nominated during the last year’s gala in Arłamów for 20-years of the chain, had an honourable place among the guests.

Our cooperation with Q-Service Truck started in June 2019, after signing a contract for exclusive distribution of Ford Trucks vehicles in Poland. I do believe that extensive experience of our Polish partner, his professionalism and customer orientation will provide us great promotion of the brand in so important country for us. Ford Trucks is present on three continents and in 41 countries, and Poland has crucial place in our strategy. We also have to remember that Poland is the fourth market regarding its size in Europe, with strategic location, constantly growing economy and great trade potential

The first meeting of Ford Trucks and Q-Service Truck representatives took place in September 2018, during International Fair of Commercial Vehicles IAA in Hannover. Since then, both parties have met several times, discussing terms and conditions of cooperation. The finale of that talks was back in June this year, when in Warsaw Hilton Hotel both parties signed a contract of cooperation.

Another step in common activities was official inauguration of sales of Ford Trucks vehicles in Poland, which was announced during a conference on 17 October. During the meeting, the first Ford Trucks dealerships in our country were presented, together with plans for development of distribution chain as well as service chain in upcoming months.

During the meeting the representatives of Ford Trucks and Q-Service Truck handed in congratulations letters on the occasion of joining dealer network and letters of intent, emphasizing the will of accepting new companies to become dealers of Ford Trucks in Poland. Opening dealership chain and service chain is a key moment for development of Ford Trucks in Poland. This way we have officially joined Ford Trucks family, being able to offer top class commercial vehicles to our Customers. This trend perfectly fits the direction of development of the Inter Cars Capital Group, where through various segments of our activity we are creating a comprehensive model of customer care, offering access to ready products like vehicles, spare parts and repair services. Cooperation will mostly favour the Customers, but also our garages which are associated in the chain, and thanks to this will be provided access to modern technology. For many of those who are going to get authorization for repairs of Ford Trucks vehicles, it is also a great advantage for their image on the market, emphasising their high competence

Currently the dealership is composed of seven companies, and all of them are also authorized services. The target is 10 dealerships in Poland. Regarding the authorized services chain we are planning to have 20. Currently we are running talks with other companies, which are willing to join the chain, verifying their possibilities, predispositions and scale of potential.

During the official opening of dealers network and service chain, besides handing in car keys to Ford F-MAX to the very first Customer, there was also official ribbon cutting, which was launching the sales of Ford Trucks vehicles in Poland, and all the dealers received from Sławomir Rybarczyk, President of the Board of Q-Service Truck and Maciej Oleksowicz, President of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA, letters of congratulations and letters intent.

The official part of the meeting was finished with a short concert of Sabina Jeszka, after which the guests continued their business talks, and the journalists had a chance to test-drive the new F-MAX, Truck of the Year 2019.
