Inter Cars and Castrol strengthening cooperation

Inter Cars, the biggest distributor of spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Central and Eastern Europe is strengthening cooperation with Castrol brand, world leader in manufacturing lubricants. It is yet another initiative announced by both companies lately.

Signing a contract with Castrol is great news for Inter Cars, but also for our Customers all over Europe. For me it is also very personal, as I have been connected with Castrol since that times I was taking part in rallies. Their logo was present on my car, so this is like a fantastic buckle closing to triumph our long-standing partnership

The contract of cooperation between the two companies was signed in Poland, when announcing plans for Q Service Castrol garage chain, which both companies were representing at a press conference in Warsaw. On the strength of signed agreement, cooperation between both parties is extended onto countries of Central and Eastern Europe, where Inter Cars Group runs its business activities. Castrol, as a strategic supplier, will benefit from distribution of all its products in Inter Cars distribution chain, which is composed of over 500 branches located in 16 different countries.

The contract between Inter Cars and Castrol is ratification of strategic partnership on the level of the Capital Group of Inter Cars. It is a result of long-term cooperation between our companies. The agreement applies to development on all markets where we are running business activities, and beneficiary of it shall be the Customers of Inter Cars all over Europe

What is important, Inter Cars has 9 HUB-s – 3 in Poland and 6 in other parts of Europe. The newest was created in the capital city of Bulgaria - Sofia, and it started its distribution operations at the beginning of October 2018. Such a well-developed distribution chain and logistics capability of Inter Cars Capital Group shall be reflected in efficiency of deliveries, reaching local markets in each of the countries fast and effectively.

Castrol is one of the biggest world manufacturers of engine oils and lubricants. The Company offers engine oils for almost each type of vehicle, and advanced solutions used in Castrol lubricants are created in technological centres all over the world. Castrol cooperates closely with numerous carmakers, independent garages and authorized service stations, and also strongly supports motorsports.

The contract signed between Inter Cars and Castrol is a coping of the long-standing, perfect cooperation in the area of lubricants distribution in Poland. Perfect relations connecting both Parties enables us to intensify our mutual activities, implement new projects and reach synergy in business. Expansion of Inter Cars on the European market is in line with the development strategy of Castrol, regarding development of cooperation with independent garages in the Region, and opens up new opportunities in the area of logistics and construction of modern sales chain in Europe
