- What is today, was created yesterday, and what will be tomorrow, is being created today – with these words of Radosław Grześkowiak from the anniversary Gala of Q-Service Truck we can best summarize the 20 years of activity of the biggest in Poland chain of truck garages, and one of the leading chains in Europe. At the meeting in Arłamów, a substantial part of it was devoted to great history of the chain, as well as to the future of the whole LKW industry in Poland and in the world.
The chain meeting in Arłamów started in Friday, January 11 with a conference part, during which the history of the chain was presented - its development on the extent of two decades, authorization requirements that the garages had to meet when joining the Q-Service Truck chain and those, which are to be met by new members, aspiring to become a part of this group of professionals.
A separate part was prepared for trainings, which have been provided by Inter Cars for 20 years for garages, not only those associated in the chain, another part for bonding events and excursions and bonus contracts. The next panel was directed at modern communication channels, which Inter Cars uses for relations with the industry media and the customers themselves, and also for PR support, which on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the company is offered to all its members. In the second part of the Friday conference, we have discussed an automotive report in relation to truck market garages and issues connected with fleet development. During the last panel discussion topics connected with trainings offered to Q-Service Truck garages by Inter Cars Training Department were discussed in details.
Also on Saturday we needed to have some space for gaining new experiences and know-how and grow one's competence. The speakers gave a presentation on the future of the truck market. They were trying to answer the question on where the industry is heading and what obstacles it will have to face, and how the technological development in the coming few years will look like. Another presentation was led by Marcin Renduda, a speaker, consultant and motivation trainer, who presented five lessons for the year 2019 to the guests, treating about the use of new technologies in business.
Knowledge was only one of the aspects of the meeting, the second one was integration of Q-Service Truck members, who were able to send with each other two great evenings and have fun together during Saturday’s night. Friday evening was booked for having fun in a nearby inn located on the ski slope, whilst on Saturday there were some bonding games, during which groups of few people had tasks to put together ten bikes, and those bikes, in the evening – during the gala – were solemnly given to residents of educational care centre „Nasz Dom” in Przemyśl. On behalf of the children, the director of the centre, Agnieszka Ustrzycka collected the rewards.
The ceremonial gala was the culminant moment of the whole meeting in Arłamów. It was started with a ceremonial dinner, after which a retrospective film was played, presenting the archive photos from 20 years of activity of Q-Service Truck. Just after the emission, Radosław Grześkowiak, Marketing and Advertising Director of Inter Cars and Sławomir Rybarczyk, President of the Board of Q-Service Truck, started the gala officially.
Together we create a strong future - This is motto, which best pictures what we have all managed to create together with all of you for the last 20 years. Q-Service Truck is a unique project on the European scale, which is success of us - Inter Cars - and of all of you.

- What is today was created yesterday, and what will be tomorrow, is being created today – said Radosław Grześkowiak, inviting representatives of four garages to the stage. Those who two decades ago helped create Q-Service Truck chain. Bolesław Rafałko from ALBOR Company, Ryszard Niewiadomski from Motir-ABS, Paweł Ciok from NSC Truck and Kazimierz Orłowski received from representatives of Inter Cars commemorative statuettes, recollecting their first meeting at the Automotive Expo in Poznan in 1999, first chain bonding events and excursions. There were some humorous accents, serious ones but also solemn, when we were commemorating Kazimierz Neyman, who passed away in 2013, a promoter of Q-Service Truck, who from the very beginning of the establishment of the chain was working for its integration, the biggest possible consolidation and development.
- Development of Q-Service Truck is not only a credit for the group of founders, although they had substantial influence on it. We also have to remember that structures of Inter Cars did their best and provided lots of support for the chain to be able to develop in such a dynamic pace – said Sławomir Rybarczyk, and after that he invited two people to the stage - people who did lots of good for the development and promotion of Q-Service Truck: the first regional manager and coordinator of QST, Mariusz Kozubek, and also Sylwia Wysocka, current Coordinator of Q-Service Truck. Both were given commemorative statuettes from the organizers.
Another part of the gala was presentation of foreign garages associated in Q-Service Truck chain and plans for further expansion on European scale. Currently the chain is present in seven countries of the Old Continent. The biggest number of garages is of course in Poland - 76, followed by: Romania (31), Czech (18), Hungary (17), Lithuania (15), Slovakia (9) and Ukraine (4). Two new garages from Ukraine and one from Lithuania were officially accepted to the chain during the gala. In total there are 170 garages associated in the chain, and almost 100 foreign garages.
Following tradition, the titles of Ambassadors of Q-Service Truck were given also in Arłamów, which will be binding for the next two years – in 2019 and 2020. During this year’s gala, the prestigious statuettes were given to: AR-TIR Jolanta Kęćko for the biggest purchase value, Jakub Bogusz for investment in the service, Przedsiębiorstwo Usługowo-Handlowe Automax Tomasz Skorupski for top standard of services, ALBOR Bolesław Rafałko for years of cooperation and involvement in life of the chain and Galaauto – garage which got a statue of Gazelle of Q-Service Truck Chain. One of the new ambassadors, Bolesław Rafałko, just after receiving a reward, delivered a speech: - Receiving the title of Ambassador is a great surprise for me, as despite being one of the founders of the chain and doing lots of social work together with my colleagues; I have not expected this reward. And being happy with it, I am also aware that it obliges me to pass my knowledge to my younger colleagues from the industry.
The jubilee gala is not only a celebration of success we have achieved till now, but also honour for the new members of the chain, who have joined this year. The following were among rewarded garages: PHU Prymus Paweł Połeć from Młodzieszyn, TTS Group Rafał Droba from Tychy, Monster Truck Service Tomasz Torba from Podchruścice and Mazur Truck-Serwis Paweł and Karol Mazur from Krzysztoforzyce. The last from the list spoke during the gala: - The possibility of development of our garage was the factor which decided on our membership in the chain, the fact that becoming a member of the QST we are more recognizable on the market and that it is mostly our customers who gain on this. Also companies: Technoparts from Ukraine and Lithuanian UAB „ARV Service” became official members of the chain.
After the official part of the gala, energetic girls from Electric band entered the stage and made the public all dance and have fun. Good fun and great atmosphere were present in Arłamów for the whole evening and even long after midnight the guests of Inter Cars and Q-Service Truck were having a pleasant time together.
One more time the members of Q-Service Truck have proven that together they create a strong organization, treating one another as partners, even in a friendly way.
