Inter Cars Capital Group added yet another statue to a wide range of titles and rewards. One of its films got rewarded in the prestigious Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards competition.
Finished not long ago gala in Cannes has already been the 8 edition of the festival Corporate Media & TV Awards. It is one of the most important events in the industry, at which corporate film productions are being rewarded, short-listed from a wide selection of materials. Selected productions in each category are given a golden, silver and black Dolphin. The winner of Grand Prix receives White Dolphin from Cannes. One of awarded films is the material presenting the stages of construction of the biggest investment of Inter Cars Company – the ILS European Logistics and Development Centre. The video was awarded a Silver Dolphin statuette. The presented film is over 3 years of following the construction site with a camera and following every stage of it, plus involvement from the very first spade in the ground. Time-lapses and hyper-lapses tell the story of the investment starting from construction of posts, through the roof, making the floor layer, and finishing with installation of the most modern automatics and warehousing constructions.
The film was made for over 30 shooting days from 4 different cameras focussed on the most important moments of the building which was constructed for approximately 36 months. The longest of several static time-lapses was taking after-shots for three months when the unique in Europe sorter was being assembled at a mezzanine.
The ILS Centre in Zakroczym was opened in May 2017. The warehouse is one of its kind in the whole Europe in the automotive industry, having the most modern automatic logistics solutions.
