One of the leading purchasing groups in automotive parts distribution, ATR International AG has appointed Krzysztof Soszynski to the organisation's Supervisory Board. Recently, the Vice President of Inter Cars SA was re-elected as a Member of the Board of the Association of Automotive Spare Parts Distributors and Manufacturers.
The Vice-President of Inter Cars SA was appointed to the Supervisory Board together with Varun Laroyia, CEO of LKQ Europe. They will replace Johan Regefalk, Managing Director at KG Knutsson AB and Arnd Franz, acting CEO of MAHLE GmbH.
ATR is one of the largest purchasing groups in the independent automotive parts market worldwide. It associates the companies: Auto-Teile-Ring, ATR International AG, ATR SERVICE GmbH and ATR Digitization GmbH under one ATR banner.
At the same time, Krzysztof Soszynski represents the industry on the board of the Association of Automotive Spare Parts Distributors and Manufacturers (SDCM). Tomasz Bęben, who sits on the board of CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers), has been elected as the new president for the next term.
Krzysztof Soszyński's career path
Since the beginning of his professional career, Krzysztof Soszyński has been involved in the market of spare parts and accessories for vehicles of all types used in the automotive industry. Hi started his carrier in 1996 as a sales representative.
He has been with Inter Cars since 2000. A year later he became a Member of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA, and in 2008 he became the Vice President of the Management Board. Responsible for supervising the purchase process of trade goods and development of international sales strategy. His contributions to the Company are gaining a strategic financial investor for the company and preparing the IPO of Inter Cars S.A. for Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2004.
In 2021 he became the new President of the Association of Automotive Spare Parts Distributors and Manufacturers. Previously, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of this institution, and as of 2023, he will again hold this very role.
