It was a special day in the history of the Croatian branch. On Saturday, 10 December 2022, the new ILS logistics centre was officially opened. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA, Maciej Oleksowicz, and Mirko Rugle, the director responsible for the Croatian market. Along with them, numerous guests from the automotive world and our customers, partners and suppliers were also present.
In addition, the building contains 27 ramps. The logistics centre in Croatia will supply 43 branches in the region, retail customers on a B2C ('business to customer') basis and export customers. This will be realized on 150 routes with appropriately coordinated logistics.
For an even better availability of goods and the comfort of our customers in Croatia and throughout the region, we needed a space that met the requirements. These included location, capacity, efficient supply and availability of spare parts. Hence, we decided to build a completely new warehouse in Vukovina. It was a huge challenge, but we can say that our efforts have paid off
emphasised the director of the Croatian branch of Inter Cars SA, Mirko Rugle
The opening and operation of the centre in Vukovina will serve not only to further enhance our services in Croatia, but also in Slovenia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the near future in other countries in the region. Logistics and product availability is a key success factor for Inter Cars. It allows us to streamline our operations related to mass products such as tyres, engine oils, filters, greases or batteries
claims Maciej Oleksowicz, President of the Management Board of Inter Cars SA
I am really impressed with how our local team organised and prepared everything. All processes and systems in the ILS warehouse are working well. I believe that our customers, suppliers and partners will feel the positive impact, which will strengthen our position in these important markets
added President Oleksowicz
