As Inter Cars community, we would like to express our support and solidarity with the Ukrainian nation. We cannot look indifferently at the events which directly affect the Ukrainian people, our friends, employees and business partners. We want to support them in these difficult moments and express our support through concrete forms of help.
The Inter Cars Foundation decided to donate PLN 1,000,000 to organisations, which actively support the victims of the armed conflict in Ukraine. We transfer funds to organisations with extensive experience and public trust.
We provide support to Polish and international humanitarian organisations operating on the territory of Ukraine.
- Polska Akcja Humanitarna (PAH) (Polish Humanitarian Action) operating in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict in 2014, which distributes food as well as other essential items.
- Polskie Centrum Pomocy Międzynarodowej (PCPM), (Polish Centre for International Aid) operating directly in Ukraine, providing humanitarian assistance in areas of military operations, assisting in the evacuation of the people and providing psychological support for children.
- Polska Misja Medyczna Polish Medical Mission, which organises the transport of life-saving medical supplies from Poland to Ukraine.
- People in Need, which operates in western Ukraine, provides, among other things, as access to drinking water for civilians on the front line, psychosocial support, food and hygiene vouchers.
- Międzynarodowy Czerwony Krzyż (ICRC) The International Red Cross (ICRC) is an organisation with over 150 years of history, whose activities are related to the protection of medical infrastructure (medical centres, hospitals and clinics) and water (access to drinking water).
- The Tech To The Rescue Foundation, which has launched the #TechForUkraine, campaign, providing support to Ukrainian NGOs, on cyber security, information sharing and resource management.
A wave of Ukrainian refugees is seeking safe place in Poland, among other places. This is why we donate part of our funds to organisations such as:
- Fundacja Ocalenie, which for many years has been helping refugees, immigrants and repatriates build a new life in Poland.
- Fundacja Nasz Wybór, Our Choice Foundation, which runs the Ukrainian House in Warsaw and has set up a 24-hour hotline for refugees from Ukraine.
- Fundacja Dom Ukraiński w Przemyślu, The Ukrainian House Foundation in Przemyśl, which works within the Ukrainian community in Poland to promote dialogue and education.
We can assure you that our assistance will not end with just donating money. We have established an Inter Cars SA Help UA staff, which is working on further support procedures, including providing accommodation, legal care, employment support or psychological care. We will keep you informed about further help plans.
