On the day of 31st December 2020, Maciej Oleksowicz, the President of the Management Board of Inter Cars, the biggest European independent distributor of automotive spare parts, listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange, indirectly acquired a package of 26.30% of shares of the Company.
The Company informed about the event on the basis of suitable notifications.
The acquisition was realized in the form of donation of all the shares of the family-owned investment company OK Automotive Investments B.V., having its registered seat in Amsterdam, which was made by Krzysztof Oleksowicz, co-founder of Inter Cars and father of Maciej Oleksowicz.
Krzysztof Oleksowicz is the co-founder of Inter Cars Company. For many years he was the president and member of the board of the Company, where till the end of 2019 he was responsible for the strategy of the Company. Currently he is still closely cooperating with the Boar of Inter Cars as a strategic advisor.
Starting from 1 July 2016, Maciej Oleksowicz has been in the Management Board of Inter Cars, whilst starting from 1 May 2017 he has been holding the position of the President of the Management Board of Inter Cars.
After Krzysztof Oleksowicz has resigned from holding the position of a member of the management board of the Company, passing all the shares to his son is a natural element of the generation succession in the family of the Co-founder of the Company.
